FR-PVMS-TH Series Comparison
Rapid Shutdown Technical Specifications and Features Overview
The PV Rapid Shutdown system (PVRSS) serves as one of the critical safety components in distributed PV power stations. Its primary function is to rapidly reduce the voltage to below 80V between any two points within the 1-foot PV array boundary and below 30V between any two points outside the array boundary within 30 seconds of activating the rapid shutdown. This system effectively eliminates electric shock risks and ensures the safety of maintenance personnel and firefighters. The PV Rapid Shutdown device (PVRSD) is also referred to as the Smart Safety Protector.
Main Features
- Detects series and parallel arc faults quickly extinguish arcs and effectively prevent fires.
- Triggered when Smart Logger loses power or manually shuts down, to ensure maintenance and fire safety.
- Including voltage, power, power generation, temperature, and other snap data.
- 1600m long communication distance.
- Designs for two modules, highly cost effective.
- Real-time fault information on abnormality.
